COVID-19 NOTICE: Due to the Corona virus pandemic, the Trustees of the Michael Marks Charitable Trust have decided to cancel the AGM this year. The charity will only honour its existing commitments. All applications received for the 2020 decision making will be considered at our next AGM in summer 2021. If the applications were specifically for projects this year, the charities will have to re-apply.
The Michael Marks Charitable Trust supports registered charities that are involved in the promotion and conservation of culture and the environment. The Trustees meet once a year, in June or July, and review all applications that arrive before the end of May.
Successful applications receive a donation before the end of July. The Trustees do not reply to unsuccessful applications, in order to keep costs down. When applying, please include a page about your charity, information about the project for which you are requesting our help, a break-down of the costs involved and a copy of your latest annual accounts. Charities registered in England and Wales need not produce their annual accounts. Please make sure you include your banking details.
